Dog-friendly restaurants and bars in Singapore

25 restaurants and bars across Singapore — 14 outdoor only, 6 indoor & outdoor and 5 indoor, and 3 note a pet menu. Restaurants and bars lean much more heavily on al-fresco seating than cafes do, so most of these listings are a terrace, courtyard or garden table rather than a spot inside. Pet menus are rare here.

Before you go

Mostly al-fresco

Full-service restaurants and bars are less likely than cafes to allow dogs indoors, and several of the venues on this list sit inside a park or garden where the dining area is open-air by design. That makes shade and weather worth planning around: an outdoor-only table is no use in a downpour.

Book ahead and say you have a dog

Pet-friendly seating is usually a specific section rather than the whole venue, and it is often the first area to fill. Reserve rather than walking in, mention the dog when you book, and ask for a table away from service paths so your dog is not sitting in the middle of the traffic.

Evening venues need extra thought

Bars get loud and crowded late, and floors collect dropped food and glass. If your dog is sound-sensitive, an early sitting is kinder than a late one. Bring water rather than assuming a bowl is available, and keep the leash short in tight seating.
